Question:

Salaam Imam Saab. I am a married man with children and practising muslim with intentions of doing hajj soon... inshallah. I have feelings for another girl and have committed zina with her. we have tried to stay away but it does not work. I really dont know what i should do I know theright thing is to get my nikkah done with her. I want to get my nikkah done with 2witness only and imam without anyone knowing very soon due to my financially circumstances i am unable to live with her can she live with her parents for awhile until i sort my financial problems can you also explain if it is compulsory for me to ask my first wife for permission I have intentions to treat her equally with my first wife and when the time is right everyone will come to know about the nikkah aswell Inshallah. please reply back i wil await for answer Thank You

Thank you for your contact. Your problem is complicated. If you do the second nikah secretly, there will be a fear of leakout of this secret and may lead to a great trouble as happened with many people. Secondly, Islam discourages the secret nukah unless there is a real fitna. I don't know if your case does comply with this criteria of fitna. You need an extraordinary care and wisdom to take any measure. May Allah help you. Wassalam
