My deep consideration led me to the conclusion that you are more safe if you get married with the first guy, as he is still interested and have feeling to establish nikah with you. In the case of marring with someone else, the fear of leak out is always here as you also mentioned, and it may lead to a great trouble and you might lose the first one as well. If the firstone is not worthy at all, then the case is different. Anyway, in bothcases you need extraordinary care and wisdom lest you should be exploited or misused.
