Salaam my brother I wanted to ask if the imam sahib would do istikhara for me as I am very confussed and think my feelings for this person may effect the outcome of the istikhara I would be most gratefull as this is my second marriage I want to be sure before commiting to marriage.Also if the imam can email me as aresponse and not put it up on the website if the imam agrees to this the I will tell you the name of the person and my name as it should be mentioned in the istikhara dua Jazakalla khar

Thank you for your question. Regarding istikhara, it is important either you have to do it, or the person to whome you are related to closely or you know her/him. This is not the best way you ask any imam whom you don't know personally. I advise you that you yourself try in this field and Allah will help you. You may try more than one if there is no clear result.
